If You Get a Message from Mailer-Daemon@quota.emailsrvr.com – it is not spam

If the mailbox you use with our RackMail service gets a message similar to the below example, please do not assume it is junk email.  You have a couple options to solve your dilemma.  RackMail has a limit of 25G and can’t be increased beyond that storage capacity.

  1.  Go into webmail through https://www.myrackmail.com and delete all the messages in your spam and trash folders, plus any other messages you don’t need to free up space.
  2. Have us create a new, empty  mailbox with your mailbox name (user@domain.com) and make the current mailbox an archive (user-archive@domain.com.)  You will then have two separate mailboxes and you’ll have to log into them separately (or create two accounts in Outlook) to view all messages.  Each mailbox costs $36/year

Please remember that the reason our email cost is so reasonable is because the cost is for just the mailbox and help to diagnose if your email issue is due to our email server.  We need to charge $120/hour for our time in creating mailboxes and answering questions regarding all-things Outlook/email client interaction.  You are encouraged to contact us if there is an issue so that we can review our email server as part of your trouble shooting process.  Our check-in with our email server is covered and not charged.

Civic Clarity has not followed our own policy about charging for our time and due to ever-increasing costs of doing business, we need to start.
