We’re excited to announce significant improvements to eNotify, your website’s notification management system. The updates affect both emailing and texting announcements. We list just email for brevity reasons only. The updates also impact texting campaigns. Here’s what is new:

Email Improvements

Never-Before Emailed Announcements
Now there is a quick fix if you forgot to choose the notification type before you published your announcement. As of 12/1/2025 you can choose the “Notification Type” and “Update” button and your announcement will be emailed.

Previously Sent Announcements – Quick Resend
You no longer need to duplicate the announcement that was previously emailed out, in order to send again. Now you edit the publish status of the announcement “Draft”, make your edits, and then click “Publish”.

Improved Digest Campaigns

Send in Digest allows you to group a number of announcements together, either to reduce the number of emails going out to your subscribers, or to create a newsletter-ish type email.

More Flexible Content Selection
Cherry-pick announcements from the previous week or month to create curated summaries for your subscribers. Click on the “checkbox” next to the announcement, choose “Bulk Edit” under Notification Timing and choose “Send in Digest.”

Change the Digest Email Hour
Civic Clarity can change the time of your digest to go out at any hour, not just 7am. If you ask us to change the hour to late afternoon, all the announcements you create during the day can go out same-day going forward.

Administrative Data Improvements

Unified Dashboard
Everything about eNotify is now in one place. Subscribers, campaigns, and sending history—are now grouped directly under Announcements for seamless management.

Complete Send History
Effective 12/1/2025 you now have a “Sent Campaigns” link that stores full subscriber details, giving you a complete audit trail of who received what and when. From the list of Sent Campaigns, select the Subject title to view Details, Preview the message and Send Log for that specific emailed announcement campaign.

NOTE: The backend holds a full year of campaigns sent/total recipients data. The Send Log for each campaign is saved for only 60 days.

Improved Usage Reports
View monthly usage totals in a dashboard with lifetime sending totals. Track email and SMS usage over time.

Category Notification Indicators
Clients that use categories for their announcements now have a visual yellow bell by the categories that are set up with email/text capability. These categories are tied to options given to subscribers when they sign up. If you don’t use categories, but think you might want to, give us a call to talk about setting them up.
